Centenary Award Ceremony26 December 2008 The University has chosen 2009, its centenary year, to honor past students of the consituent colleges with an honorary award to celebrate the contribution they have made to the development of Lougborough University. The University is inviting all former students who studied at the University's constituent Colleges, received a higher education qualification below the level of a Bachelor degree and who completed their studies in or before 1979 back to Loughborough to receive an Honorary Bachelor Degree Award. Christmas Carol Concert15 December 2008 On 9th December retired Loughborough University staff joined with past students to attend the Carol Concert in the Cope Auditorium. You can view pictures from the event and read more about it under the event reviews.

Athletics Club Team Photographs10 December 2008 All the photographs of Loughborough University's Athletics Teams have been removed from the walls of the athletics pavillion for restoration.
