Re-enactment of College Sunday 23 September 2009
On Sunday 25 October 2009 at 10.30am. Loughborough University and Colleges Chaplaincy will be re-enacting the College Sunday Service.
There will be a procession from the Town Hall to the church, weather permitting, just as there would have been back in the day! The Mayor will be in attendance, along with senior members of the University, the College, student representatives, and other participants. The Reverend Rachel Ross, Rector of the Parish Church, and Reverend Simon Richardson of Loughborough University and Colleges Chaplaincy will be conducting the service. Even the college hymn will be sung.

Loughborough Maintains Place Amongst Top 15 Universities 22 September 2009
The publication of the latest Sunday Times University Guide has seen Loughborough retain its place in the Top 15 Universities in the UK, achieving 15th place in the overall rankings.
Individually, Loughborough has retained its place as the leading university for sport and has again achieved a top 5 spot for student satisfaction. In addition, there has been a significant improvement in the Head Teachers ranking, from 33rd to 25th, whilst student drop-out rates were found to be one of the lowest of those surveyed. Loughborough alumni were also found to achieve a starting salary £2,000 above the national average.
