Loughborough crowned European tennis champions

Loughborough University men’s tennis team have made British history by winning the European title at the Barclays ECTA Champions League Finals over the weekend (13-15 November).
The quintet of Jony Kinsella, Scott Dickson, Josh Miller, Stuart Searle and Javi Ramos beat number one seeds Rouen of France to become the first ever British side to claim the men’s European University Tennis League title.

Chevening Scholarships Available to Hong Kong Alumni

The British Council in Hong Kong invites applications from Loughborough University alumni to receive a Chevening Scholarship for Postgraduate study in the UK in 2010. The scholarships cover tuition fees, airfares and living costs up to HK$350,000. Closing date for applications is 15 January 2010. Further details are listed under Chevening Scholarships
